The Natural Way: How to Improve Male Infertility

Have you ever considered your lifestyle? You run as hard as you can on the weekends to enjoy life. Monday comes way to soon and you start off the week a little dehydrated from all the adult beverages and the late nights did not allow you to recharge your battery. This hectic lifestyle makes you drag just a little at work so you end up working a little later than normal, a late dinner and then you try to cram eight hours of sleep into five and this happens night after night and week after week. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that you are burning the candle at both ends and now your shooting blanks and its time to re-load.

More than likely your lifestyle has caught up to you. The great news is that you can probably invest some time and energy into some natural treatments to cure your infertility. There are medical solutions too. However they are very expensive and usually take up to six months before you will see any results and even those are not guaranteed unless you make some lifestyle changes along with the medical treatments.

If you haven’t been tested you should do that immediately. It is possible that there is something medically wrong that would require surgery. Fortunately statistics show that number to be very low.

The number one cause of male infertility is low sperm count. So, get tested and find out your sperm count and then move on from there.

Ok, here come the lifestyle changes that need to take place.

•Cut down or better yet eliminate smoking
•Same thing for the alcohol and/or drugs
•Increase your physical exercise
•Reduce stress/calm your mind

These lifestyle changes are only needed temporary until your spouse has become pregnant.

Depending on your age and physical health you may need to include some natural supplements in your diet to increase semen volume. As men age, especially past 40 the volume of semen begins to decrease. These supplements not only increase semen volume but they also stimulate sperm production. Here are just a few of the key nutrients:

•L-lysine
•L-arginine
•Amino Acids
•Selenium
•Zinc
•B12

Now here is the difficult one. You should consider reducing the frequency of intercourse. Frequent intercourse may cause the sperm count to decline. However, you do not want to go to long between acts of intercourse either. The potency of the sperm cells may diminish from to infrequent sex. Check with your fertility doctor to find the optimum times for your partner’s ovulation. It may take a little planning to get the timing just right to increase the chance of conceiving. I know, I know this really _______!

Here is an important thing to consider, heat kills sperm. Stay out of the hot tube for a while and don’t wear your underwear to tight. Turn the water temperature in the shower to warm instead of boiling hot and keep that hot laptop on a table.

Get outside and get some exercise. Vitamin D comes from the sun and it helps reduce stress. Keep your weight down since excess weight may cause problems.

Stay away from harsh chemicals and pesticides. Even the fumes from strong household cleaners may inhibit sperm production.

Remember the reward that awaits you, becoming a father, out way these temporary lifestyle changes. Besides you need a change of lifestyle anyway. There are residual benefits to making these changes and they should put you in a great position to naturally conceive a child. Best of luck.
